“So what’s your favorite thing at school?” I ask the boy, now in K-4.
“Playing on the play ground and centers in the class” the boy responds. (Centers is where they play in class..)
“So have you made some friends?” I ask.
“Yeah, there’s (these names removed to protect the guilty) X and Y and Z.” He responds.
“So are there any cute girls in your class?” I ask, knowing what his mother will say when she reads this.
“Oh yeah. There’s Isabella. She’s crazy AT me. She ALWAYS tries to sit by me.”
“She’s crazy AT you or ABOUT you?” I ask, holding back the laugh.
“She’s crazy about me”, he declared.
That’s my boy.
