We are now playing a new game with our 8 year old — it’s called, “how many teeth can you lose and still eat real food?” She is the main player. I am a reluctant spectator. Tonight she felt compelled to alay my fears that she would be reduced to eating puree by counting her teeth.<\/p>\n

“Don’t worry mom, I still have . . . (long pause) 17 teeth!”<\/p>\n

WOW! Really? 17?! Well then, break out the steaks! Uh oh — nope, hold on – not just yet, because 2 hours later, she is down to 16.<\/p>\n

Seriously.<\/p>\n

(Did I mention this is the 3rd tooth in\u00a05 days? This kid knows how to make up for lost time!)<\/p>\n

I’m beginning to wonder — would it be considered un-fairy-like for the tooth fairy to solicit donations?<\/p>\n

I\u00a0should probably refer that question to our resident pixie.<\/p>\n
