So the boy dropped whatever it was he was attempting to eat on the floor (more than likely still in the wrapper. . .)
“Mom…. I dropped my food on the floor.”
Dad: “Pick it up”
“Can I still eat it?”
Dad: “Yes”
“Mom can I still eat it?”
Mom: “Yes”
“The floor is clean?”
Mom: “Yes”
“It’s clean?”
Mom: “Yes”
“You mopped it?”
And so it goes…
